These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Joybyte Games ("Joybyte", "we", "us", or "our"), a game development studio based in Lahore, Pakistan.
These Terms govern your use of our website and any game or application published by Joybyte Games that links to these Terms (collectively, the "Services").
By downloading, installing, accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
01Eligibility
By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
You also confirm that your use of the Services does not violate any law or regulation that applies to you.
02The Services
Joybyte Games develops and publishes games and applications for mobile, PC and virtual reality platforms, including services distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Steam and Meta Quest.
The term 'Services' includes our website together with any game or application published by Joybyte that links to these Terms.
We may modify, improve, suspend or discontinue features, content or entire Services at any time, including temporary interruptions for maintenance, updates or technical reasons.
03License & Intellectual Property
All content available through our Services—including game code, artwork, music, sound effects, characters, logos, trademarks and branding—is owned by Joybyte Games or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Joybyte grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to download and use our games solely for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment.
- Copy, modify, adapt, reverse engineer or decompile any part of our games except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Extract, resell, sublicense or redistribute game assets, artwork, code or other content.
- Use the Joybyte Games name, logo or branding without prior written permission.
- Remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks or other proprietary notices.
04Accounts & Cloud Saves
Some games support cloud saving or account synchronization through services such as Google Play Games, Apple Game Center or similar providers.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please contact us as soon as possible so that appropriate action can be taken.
05Acceptable Use
When using our Services, you agree to behave responsibly and to respect both other players and our platform.
- Do not cheat, hack, exploit bugs, automate gameplay or use unauthorized software.
- Do not harass, threaten or abuse other players.
- Do not upload illegal, infringing, hateful or offensive content.
- Do not interfere with our servers or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not scrape, harvest or extract data using automated systems.
- Do not sell or transfer accounts, virtual currency or items outside features officially supported by Joybyte.
Violations
Accounts that violate these Terms may be suspended or permanently terminated without prior notice. Any unused virtual items or currency may be forfeited where permitted by applicable law.
06Purchases, Virtual Items & Advertising
Purchases
Purchases are processed by the relevant platform such as Apple App Store, Google Play, Steam or another authorized storefront.
Joybyte Games does not directly process payment card information and cannot issue refunds on behalf of those platforms. Refund requests must be submitted according to the platform's own refund policy.
Virtual Items & Currency
Virtual currency, cosmetic items, unlocks and other digital content have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred outside the game unless explicitly permitted.
We may rebalance, modify or discontinue virtual items, rewards or currencies as part of ongoing game development.
Advertising
Some free-to-play games may display advertisements delivered by trusted third-party advertising partners such as Google AdMob.
While we require advertising partners to comply with applicable standards, Joybyte is not responsible for the content or availability of advertisements served by third parties.
07Third-Party Platforms
If you download or access one of our games through platforms such as the Apple App Store, Google Play, Steam or Meta Quest Store, your use of the Services is also subject to that platform's own terms, conditions and policies.
These Terms apply only to the relationship between you and Joybyte Games. Third-party platforms are not responsible for the operation, maintenance or support of our games except where required by their own policies.
08User Content
Some of our Services may allow you to create or submit content such as usernames, custom levels, screenshots, reviews, chat messages or other player-generated content.
You retain ownership of content that you create. However, by submitting content through our Services, you grant Joybyte Games a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display and distribute that content solely for operating, improving and promoting the Services.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to any content you submit and that it does not infringe the rights of others.
- Do not upload copyrighted material without permission.
- Do not submit confidential or private information.
- Do not post content that is illegal, abusive, hateful or misleading.
- Do not impersonate another person or organization.

You use the Services entirely at your own risk.
11Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joybyte Games shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the Services.
This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, loss of virtual items, loss of gameplay progress, business interruption, data loss or device damage.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services shall be limited to the amount you paid to Joybyte Games for the relevant Service during the twelve months immediately preceding the claim, or USD $50 if you have not made any purchases.
12Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Joybyte Games, its employees, directors, licensors and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your misuse of the Services.
- Your violation of any law or regulation.
- Your infringement of the rights of another person or organization.
13Termination
You may stop using our Services at any time by uninstalling our games or discontinuing use of our website.
Joybyte Games may suspend, restrict or permanently terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services or where required to protect our players, systems or legal interests.
We also reserve the right to discontinue any game, feature or online service at any time.
Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification—will continue to remain in effect.
14Games Built for Clients
Joybyte Games also develops games and applications on behalf of clients and publishing partners.
Where a game is published under another company's brand, that publisher's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will govern your use of that game instead of these Terms.
These Terms apply only to products and services published directly under the Joybyte Games name unless expressly stated otherwise.
Client Projects
If you are playing a game published by one of our clients, please review the legal policies provided by that publisher.
15Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan without regard to conflict of law principles.
If you have a dispute relating to the Services, we encourage you to contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.
If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Lahore, Pakistan.
16Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements or business operations.
Whenever material changes are made, we will update the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice within our website or games where appropriate.
Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those updated Terms.
17General Terms
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. Joybyte Games may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition or transfer of business assets.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms that apply to a specific Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Joybyte Games regarding your use of the Services.
